Dispelling Atabek Shukurov's Delusions of Grandeur Surrounding an Alleged Response from Mufti Taqi Usmani

In the name of Allah The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. Endless prayers and salutations upon His Beloved Prophet, his pure family and noble companions.

For some time now Atabek Shukurov and his student (rather his personal editor and spellchecker) have been attempting to garner attention and recognition among the Muslim Ummah by issuing challenges and “open letters” to recognised Islamic scholars. One of the scholars that they wrote to/challenged was Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani of Pakistan who is in no need of an introduction. The issue they wrote to him regarding was the issue surrounding the permissibility of mortgages, for which they have not had the fortune of being graced with a response, and rightly so since the credentials and scholarly acumen of such individuals are highly suspect. Recently however, Atabek Shukurov and his human spellchecker claimed that they have received a response from Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani on another issue; prayer and fasting in parts of the world where the signs of their timings either do not occur or occur for a very short time. Brother Atabek writes in his online article titled ‘Long Awaited Response from Mufti Taqi Usmani’;
The reality is that both brother Atabek and his stooge have comically made the error of failing to investigate the source of this email which they received, and failing to verify whether it was actually from Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani himself. Perhaps they knew that this was in fact not directly from Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani himself, but nonetheless took it as an opportunity to utilise his name (once again) in order to bring in the attention that they so desperately crave. Whatever the reason may be, the true fact of the matter is that this is not a direct response to brother Atabek Shukurov from Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani (as much as the former may wish it to be so). What was attached to the email and what has been pasted at the bottom of brother Atabek’s article, is in reality a rough translation of Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani’s writings on the issue as found in his Takmila Fath al-Mulhim, penned over a decade ago. This rough draft translation which they somehow got hold of was done by a friend of mine - Maulana Zeeshan Chaudri - who is not a student of Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani. He wasn't aware that his rough draft translation was even forwarded to brother Atabek. He merely sent it to someone who was interested in reading it himself and sharing with some others who were also interested. Maulana Zeeshan even mentioned that it was a rough draft with numerous errors. How Atabek and his cronies falsely concluded that this was somehow a direct response to him by Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani is beyond comprehension. It really just seems like another ploy by them to acquire some brownie points among the masses.
I end by responding to the following comment by brother Atabek where he said:
I say to you, you were delusional enough to imagine that Shaykh Mufti Taqi Usmani would even respond to you on a matter you didn’t invite him to respond to. So delusional in fact, that you didn't even bother to verify from where and who such a "response" originated from. We say with full confidence that you would be even more deluded to imagine that he would respond to your so-called open letter. However, as they say; “never give up on your dreams”, who knows, maybe someday, somebody may actually take you seriously.
“Finally last week I’ve got an email from the followers of Mufti Taqi, with a word document attached. It was a response from Mufti Taqi clarifying the issue of Isha where there is no time.”

“At the end I want to say that now we know that normal time limit for the responses is about a year after sending the letter. Means we have to wait about six months before we get his reply about the mortgage.”
