Shaykh Ibn Uthaimeen was quoted by the moderator of Multaqa Ahl al-Hadeeth forum saying:
This was translated by 'Abu Najm' as follows:
The translator then adds:
So according to Ibn Uthaimeen Allah's knowledge is seemingly incomplete until after something takes place. Allah's refuge is sought! And, of course, according to them He has two wills.
Even the resident salafi moderator shaykh of that forum Haitham Hamdan embarrassingly states:
There is much more that can be said of what he himself has mentioned in the first post in the thread....
Thank God the lay Salafis are not familiar with the intricacies of these Salafi beliefs lest they would fall into the misguidance (or worse!) of their scholars!
This was translated by 'Abu Najm' as follows:
1) Allah’s knowledge after something takes place is not His knowledge before it happens, since His knowledge before something takes place is knowing that it will take place, and His knowledge after it takes place is knowing that it happened. The analogy for this is from several angles: Allah Wills everything even the future for which there is no end intended for it, no doubt, however the Will which is linked is upon the act [taking place]: {His only command when He wills something is to say “Be,” then it is.}[Ya Sin: 82]
Thus here there are two “wills”: a preceding will and a will linked to the act; so when Allah wishes to create something, He wills it upon creating it, however the mere fact that He Wills to create in the future is not that Will which is linked [to the act], and likewise is [His] knowledge.
Thus here there are two “wills”: a preceding will and a will linked to the act; so when Allah wishes to create something, He wills it upon creating it, however the mere fact that He Wills to create in the future is not that Will which is linked [to the act], and likewise is [His] knowledge.
The translator then adds:
The above quote of Ibn Uthaymeen, rA, is what I understood of the matter, and I just wanted to clarify that there are two Wills in the above sense.
So according to Ibn Uthaimeen Allah's knowledge is seemingly incomplete until after something takes place. Allah's refuge is sought! And, of course, according to them He has two wills.

What Shaikh Ibn Utheimeen (RA) said is questionable.
There is much more that can be said of what he himself has mentioned in the first post in the thread....
