Assalamualaikum and greetings to fellow members on this board. I asked this question because read www.mpvusa.org/sexuality-diversity/ a couple of days ago. the guy who wrote this was Scott Siraj Kugle. I'm sure some of you have heard of him. In his blog post he says that Islam doesn't actually opposes of homosexuals mainly because the Quran rarely mentions anything about it. The writer did bring up about the story of Lut but he quickly dismissed it as a wrong interpretation. either way i am not a supporter of the LGBT rights but i do tolerate people who are gay and i won't discriminate them for being so as prophet muhammad himself did not discriminate a gay. Can any of you answer weather gays are allowed in islam? i'm not talking about a transgendered person here, i'm talking about those who are involved in a same-sex-relationship.
