When someone has a lot of waswasah (doubts, confusions) in his prayers (and also outside of them), does he have to frequently make prostations of forgetfulness or does he have some kind of excuse? What's the ruling/or rulings in the hanafi madhab?

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Regarding your question, Waswasah are doubts placed in your head from Shaitan and you are not required to make prostrations of forgetfulness. Try your utmost to ignore them and continue in your worship of Allah the almighty. Our Sheikh, Mufti Ebrahim Desai, likens waswasah to smoke when driving on the motorway. One pays attention to the roads and ignores the smoke, he doesn't allow it to distract him
