THE LAWS OF JIHAD - A GLIMPSE The following quotes from the Classical Fuqaha (jurists), provide just a glimpse into the 1400 year old, ancient, medieval, and “backward” Laws of Jihad:
good effort. actually i believe this is an extremely important subject as there are clearly some retarded gullible Wahhabis out there who think they have a sound religious justification for random acts of murder of civilians, women and children..... not sure why much more has not been written in English about this subject. the only book i know of is by Tahir al-Qadri (not read t) and another short book on isis by sh yaqoubi.

Are you unable to disprove them from an `ilmi perspective, is that why you resort to rambling away in long posts which you know no one would bother reading? If you claim their fataawaa are wrong and contrary to ijmaa`, then really it shouldn't be hard to bring the madhaahib's books to disprove it. that would be a pointless exercise... even some of their own 'salafee' shayks have said as such islamqa.info/en/248850 but they don't give two hoots so why would they care what the 'madhaahib's books' say?

So, just to clarify, you have no objection to celebrating the birth of the Prophet (salallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) - unless it is done in Rabi' Al-Awwal or unless it is ONLY done in Rabi' Al-Awwal?

its not exclusive. the word 'Eid has also been used to describe days other than that of 'Eid al Adha and 'Eid al Fitr in the Sunnah. see here and here. I don't see then what your problem is of calling the mawlid an 'eid as many have done.
